Hi my name is Simone, I'm the owner and operator here at Smooch Ya Pooch. Our services help in keeping your fur babies hygienically clean with a well maintained coat and skin. We are a professional dog grooming service and here to help educate you on your pooches needs to keep their coats in tip-top condition throughout the changing seasons.
Being a groomer is amazing and challenging, but always rewarding, No one pooch is the same! I get to pamper your pooch and over time create a bond with your furry family member/s. We ensure your fur baby's experience is a positive one and more importantly, one they will look forward to time and time again.
My passion for animal care began in my younger years as a young rider showing horses. I worked in the racing industry for over 4 years before successfully completing my veterinary nursing certificate.After taking time off to raise a family, I decided to enrol in an animal companion and professional dog grooming certification. With dogs of my own, I understand the time and effort required to maintain a positive healthy lifestyle for our furry friends.
Smooch Ya Pooch has been operating in and around the Western Suburbs of Melbourne after first beginning as a mobile dog grooming service and then moving into my first salon in 2020. After a few years in the Maidstone salon juggling the COVID-19 pandemic and multiple health issues, I realised it was time the business was relocated back home, rebuilt and revamped!
Being a groomer is amazing and challenging, but always rewarding, No one pooch is the same! I get to pamper your pooch and over time create a bond with your furry family member/s. We ensure your fur baby's experience is a positive one and more importantly, one they will look forward to time and time again.
